I probably have a typo in there somewhere...
Anyway today is the day I get recognized for being the awesome organized professional person I am. (no snickering!) So my work gave me a wonderful little poem that came along with candy - you know the one that goes 'we wish we could take you on a shopping SPREE' and comes with chewy spree (yum!). I did get Lifesavers in that package, and I realized I haven't had Lifesavers in quite a while, I was looking forward to opening the package and digging in. I did so and realized that LIFESAVERS HAS STOLEN MY CHILDHOOD. That's right, they've replace all those nummy flavors of lime, orange and lemon (ok at least the didn't replace cherry) with crappy flavors of blackberry, watermelon, and another flavor I didn't try because I was so upset they had replaced them. Why?? I guess they were trying to recover the corner of the market they had lost with the advent of new sour spicy crazy hard candies. Except that those all suck, and Lifesavers was wonderful... so here's to the years we had, original Lifesavers...
I hope you are all having a wonderful day! And recognize those Administratives around you by buying them lunch, or a chocolate bar, or some Starbucks. I need to go gets me some coffee...
My brother and wife gave birth to a lovely (I am assuming here - but when is it ever not lovely!) baby boy this morning around 3:59am. They named him Marcus Xavier, which means he will get to live up to being named after the god of war. He can totally do that right?
7 pounds, 6 ounces and 13cm head, not sure yet about other pertinant facts like length, hair or eyes. It was an emergency c-section, but both mother and baby are doing fine. Pray for Christy's quick recovery!
Have a wonderful day and I will post pictures as soon as I have them and are given permission from the wonderful parents.
Sometimes you just get so busy that it is hard to remember to keep in touch with everybody, or even to update your blog. Basically I have been hanging out with my fiance, planning my wedding, working, and sleeping. I do have health insurance now, so I am going to see if I can't fix the 'sleeping' part. Does anybody know if the doctor can describe caffine pills? Perhaps I could get my health insurance to cover my Starbucks purchases? That would be amazing.
What I am working on right now for the wedding (I know this is a thrill to everybody's day, but it's all I can write about currently): MUSIC! That's right, what kind of music should I have at the wedding, walk down the aisle to, ect. Very exciting, as is sarcasm.
Also working on: the CEREMONY! Actually, THE VOWS! We don't want to stand up there for a really long time, so I am looking for some sort, but not too short, and simple vows. Did you know that there is NOTHING out there I have found that talks about the variety of vows. Seriously, I don't want to have to do this much research to do these vows.
In other news: do not use TurboTax, they suck and they attempt to rip you off and use lame excuses when they do and won't fix the problem. I give them an overall thumbs down. I am going to use the H&R Block site because it is FREE! This is probably old news to everybody, but I have slacked on my taxes this year - mainly because I was trying to get TurboTax to honor the advert they sent me. No reason they won't honor it, outside of the fact that they are trying to rip me off.
I hope you all have a wonderful week!
