Dove's Campaign

This video is very interesting. It shows a real model and what she may go through to become what you see in the magazine or in the billboard. It is amazing that, not only do none of us have the time in the morning to look like this, but that even she physically doesn't look like that.

Yeah, I found it interesting too. I find the technological aspects intriguing... people keep bringing up the moral stuff about it, and I suppose that is great to talk about, but I would be very happy to know how to do what they did.

I totally stole it from your blog too - thanks for the information!! :-)

Plastic surgery and professional makeup artists are the way to look like that.

Hey! Don't know if you remember me from way back in freshman year of college. I was friends with Dr.G. - we went to high school together. Just wanted to say hey as I came across your site.

Definitely enjoyed the video and have really liked what Dove is attempting to do. Unfortunately they have more than just one small instance of "false images" to combat.

Hey nicole! I actually came across your blog the other day (linked from Dr G) and read it - great stuff!! I wasn't sure if you'd remember me so I didn't comment. Of course I remember you though!! Hope you are doing well, congrats on the six month mark - I have only reached two (today actually). I will comment on your blog now that I know you remember me too!

Looks like I COULD BE A MODEL. I know that T always could - but me -me memememememememe - i could do it - i know now!!! :)

Just kidding!

This is why it's important to know God and get your validation from Him and not what you look like - I mean - look at me. :) Oops there I go again.

Love,
M
