Perishing in a Horrible Tragedy

Many of you watch Discovery channel, and if you do you probably know that there is a fault line off the Washington State coast that could break. It is much like the fault line off of Indonesia which cause the 2004 Tsunami is Asia. Now, if this fault line breaks from end to end it will cause a six, that's right six, minute earthquake which would be incredibly devistating by itself. Then we would have to flee for the hills (if we weren't buried in a colapsing tower) and run from the Tsunami. Though, to be honest, that could be more a Northern Oregon problem.

And now the illustrious Pat Robertson is playing on our fears. He says that God told him that the Pacific Northwest would suffer a devestating Tsunami this year. Here is the article. Notice that God didn't tell him we'd have an earthquake and a Tsunami, and he left Alaska and Canada out of the Tsunami (they would probably get part of it). Perhaps it is just a localized Tsunami to punish Seattle for creating Starbucks? I, personally, think Pat Robertson is losing his sanity slowly... or perhaps he's lost it years ago and it's finally catching up with him. Who listens to Pat Robertson anyway??

Seriously, that guy is a quack.

Speaking of weird geological things in your state... That spire that is growing out of Mt St. Helens is kind of cool. 5 feet (or is it meters) a day or something like that.

Ahh... a pic of the spire.

Why is it that people always forget about the big ass mouantian range between seattle and the open water? Pat Robertson is satans henchman.

According to some people the Atlantic coast is also at risk.

I watched a show on the History Channel last night (completely out of character I know) and it was 'MegaDisasters' and it was about a hurricane hitting NYC. Really great, I guess a hurricane hits NYC about every 50-75 years (which means we are due since the last one hit in 1939). Plus we are in a warm water Atlantic cycle, which started in 1995 (every 25 years there is a warmer and cooler cycle). This is part of why we have been seeing so many hurricanes.

I highly reccommend it, as long as you are living in the same place you are watching about. It is a little anxiety inducing.

You should NEVER LISTEN TO PAT ROBERTSON. He just gives us a bad name. I've written him several times when he's stuck his foot in his mouth.

WHERE WAS HE WHEN THE BIG ALASKA QUAKES HAPPENED - that was a great Tsnami - come on - he's just trying to get your goat ... ;( As for his son - who took over one year when he was running for office - he's really even tempered.

I think that Pat Robertson should be ignored AT ALL COSTS. Even God and his people are not happy or approve of his methods - fear is his only tool.

NEVER LISTEN TO HIM!!! Love, m
