Random Review Time

Find Me Guilty: Starring Vin Disel, and the only movie I have ever seen him in outside of that one on the alien planet. This was a very good movie, you realize the character was no really likeable, but yet you kinda liked him. You wanted to see him win it and pull through the charges. It was a decent mob movie too, though perhaps not nearly gory enough to be a Soprano's episode.

The Prizewinner of Defiance, Ohio: Starring Julianne Moore. Amazing, I loved this movie. It is a period movie set in the 1950's when women (mostly) stayed home and had children, occasionally the women had to utilize their underused wit and entered contest. Eventually in the 1960's the contests had come to an end and all of our contests today are 'no talent needed'. This is the story of how a mother of 10 raised a family on 25 words or less. Made me cry, of course what doesn't.

X-Men: The Last Stand: Starring Hugh Jackman, at least for me it was starring him. Decent movie, I won't spoil it for those of you who haven't seen it, but people die who have never died in the comic books and it annoyed me slightly. Granted, they aren't doing a fourth film, but what the heck? Decent movie, not as great as one or two. Can anyone say Wolverine Movie?

As Time Goes By: Perhaps twenty somethings shouldn't be watching a British TV show about an aging couple who have reuninted after 40 years and get married and make dry, sardonic jokes; but I just can't help myself. My mom and stepfather got me hooked on the show and, since they have a few of the DVDs, I borrow them and watch them enmasse. It's on PBS on Saturday nights (probably around 7pm CST) and if you can't buy or rent the DVDs, that is the way to check it out. Starring Dame Judi Dench and very well acted, I'm half in love with her husband - probably more in a paternal way, though I haven't analyzed the feelings and don't really want to delve that deeply into my psyche.

Well I will sit around and think of more things to write about, all for your amusement.

You never saw Vin in The Fast and the Furious? I thought everyone and their brother had seen that first one. Or how about triple x? That movie was ok.

I am proud to say I am Fast and Furious, and Too Fast Too Furious, free. I saw Pitch Black, and on TV no less. I wanted to see the Chronicles or Riddick but never did. He was good in this film though.

He is super cute, I thought that was the most adorable picture!!

he is really cute....and, i've never seen either of the fast and the furious movies...can we start a club, 10? :)

Fast free too? I liked that movie but only for the cars.

So did you see Fast & Furious Toyko Drift? I don't like cars that much, so the movies don't have much of a draw for me.

mcdbro: let's start a club! that would be fun, and it would have the added bonus of no boys allowed because I think all boys have seen that movie :-)

What a cutie in your pic!

I have not seen any of the fast/furious movies. I wanted to see the first one but never did.

I saw him in The Rundown, though, and I thought that was hillarious.
