...the sun comes out and you are completely blinded by the bright round thing in the sky. Seriously, it's not nice to shine bright lights in peoples eyes when they aren't expecting it. I couldn't see where I was walking yesterday! (I was walking directly into the sun, if that makes it better)
...when you are getting sued by Texas A & M and you are pissed about it. If they make us take down the 12 flags and we lose I will beat up the next Aggie I meet. Why do I know they are called Aggies? I have no idea...
...the Starbucks you are ordering from directs another customer to the Starbucks 'one block up on the left' because they don't have what he is looking for. I joke you not!
...when you've only been working at your new job for six weeks and you are experiencing severe caffine withdrawls symptoms on the weekend. I don't drink THAT much coffee!
Hope you are all having a wonderful day!
Posted by 10lees at January 31, 2006 07:59 AM...you meet someone that actually thinks the Seahawks will win on Sunday.
Posted by: jeff at January 31, 2006 10:29 AMI'm guessing it might have something to do with the "Agriculture" in their name. As for the caffeine, that doesn't even happen to me - you must really be downing it during the week. That or maybe not drinking enough water during non-work times to offset it.
Posted by: Jeremy at January 31, 2006 11:24 AMUm, Jeff, you know we were number one seeeded right? We are going against the number six seeded? I think Steelers are favored against the Seahawks because they went to the Superbowl in the 70s... which I am not sure what that has to do with it. (ok I think the Steelers have a better road record - but still)...
I will bet you a Starbucks Frap that we win. Venti - Carmel - Double Blended...
Jeremy - you may be onto something with the water, I should drink more of that.
Posted by: 10lees at January 31, 2006 12:03 PMeither that or invest in Coke Zero.
Posted by: dr gonzo at February 1, 2006 08:09 AMI can relate on the headaches 10, I get those :/
Oh, and whats this Texas A&M lawsuit thingy? I hadn't heard of that. Anyone have a link handy?
Don't have a link handy but I think if you google Texas A&M Seattle you'll get the gist of it.
10, I don't think the Steelers are favorites to win because of the 1970's team, I think it's because given their playoff run it's clear they're a lot better than their season record suggests. Also, I think the Seahawks got screwed over playing the Colts because even though they won, it "didn't count." If that had been a real game where both teams played to win and we'd won I think there'd be a helluva lot more respect.
Posted by: captain easychord at February 1, 2006 03:10 PMcaptain easycord - I would agree that if we hadn't played their second string we may have had more respect - also our game against the panthers was a disgrace at the beginning - though they were horrible as well.
apparently wiljefv is scared of my challange!! I taunt you from 2500 miles away!! hahahahaha!
Posted by: 10lees at February 2, 2006 10:21 AMI wonder if it's being scared of the challenge or scared of what a Starbucks Frap whould look like after traveling 2500 miles?
Posted by: captain easychord at February 3, 2006 02:39 PMI'm not scared, I just didn't know that you had replied back because I can't syndicate your comments. Oh, and you're on. I don't know how you are going to get me my winnings but you are a clever person, I'm sure you'll think of something.
Posted by: jeff at February 4, 2006 01:21 PMI should do something about that comments thing... I should be able to copy the script I used for the other ones.
Posted by: Jeremy at February 4, 2006 09:48 PM8 min left in the 4th. Steelers up by 11 and just recovered a fumble. I also enjoy the Venti Carmel Double-blended.
Posted by: jeff at February 5, 2006 06:36 PMDang it. Call challenged. Hopefully I won't be eating my words in 8 minutes while your mouth waters for frap.
Posted by: jeff at February 5, 2006 06:37 PMI will buy it for you if they lose, but I do have to say for the record that this is one ass-clown way to ref a game!
Posted by: 10lees at February 5, 2006 06:39 PMSo about this sun! Wow - 1.5 mos of rain will do it to your brain. If you haven't experienced this yet - well be in the Seattle area when it decides to tank you for a while.
It was raining for 26 days straight! Wow - I didn't know I could live through that much rain.
And now the sun has come out for a few days to play and I have energy. I know that I have SAD - that's Seasonal Attention Disorder - it sounds cuter and is less depressing.
Welcome to the sun - and if you continue complaining about it - it may leave for another 26 days - so shhhhh Ten!
Love,
m
