Hi everybody, as most of you know my brother got married to a great girl in August and we are very excited to have her as part of the family. It is thrilling to have an official sister even though we've never met! (Perhaps if she sees this post she will comment for the first time instead of just reading - hint, hint!!)
There is more exciting news though that I've been dying to share but had to wait until the time was right. I am going to be an Aunt! That's right, my brother and wife are expecting a bundle of joy in April of next year! We are all very excited here and my mom and I are doing plenty of shopping in baby stores as a result. There are plenty of cute things we will have the opportunity to buy, I'm sure. Of course I have been told that I am not allowed to buy noisy toys for said child... which I thought was half the fun of being an Aunt. However, I suppose if I don't want to suffer the same fate from them, I should obey the rule!
So congratulations to them and their little bundle!
